The Pécharmant Domaine Les Grangettes according to Gaston 2002 is the fruit of a very special care, this is our up of range of the 2002 red line. Wonderfully served with game, red meat or cheese. The encepagement is composed from 30% Merlot grapes varieties, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes varieties, 30% Cabernet Franc grapes varieties and 10% Malbec grapes varieties. We advice you to leave it to age one or two additional years before tasting it.
VINIFICATION: During the fermentation, the temperature is maintained at about 26°C in order to get a maximum amount or colour preserving the original fruity aroma. The total length of cuvaison is a lot longer one than our traditional Pécharmant, about four to five weeks in order to extract a maximum of tannin and of color. This wine grew up in oak casks for a period of 12 months.
DEGUSTATION: On tasting, it first feels warm, strong and powerful. Blackberry aromas with vanilla grades, developing an overall very pleasant.
Served at room temperature (16°). Bottle : 750 Ml
