The Monbazillac 2004 Cuvée Damien has obtained a GOLD Medal to the Agricultural General Contest in Paris 2006. It's a remarkable wine wich is selectivlely and second manually harvested, essentialy on our bits of old vines.
Grapes are covered into wine very carefully with slow fermentation at low temperature. Dice the end of the fermentation, this wine rearing grew up in oak casks for a period of 11 months.
The dress is yelow and golden, the nose is powerful and very aromatic, aromates of white flesh fruits, peach. The finish is fresh on aromates of candieds fruits and prunes.
Serve fresh (8°-10°) to the apperitif, on foie gras, Roquefort cheese, with a chocolate dessert, a melon, or with strawberries. Bottle : 750Ml
